The Norwegian Refugee Council, NRC, is profoundly concerned about escalating tensions in Ethiopia, a country already contending with mass displacement and widespread humanitarian needs. The NRC says rising hostilities in the Tigray region threaten the immediate safety of hundreds of thousands of people.
