French companies have announced 20 billion rands of new investment in South Africa with more than 3000 direct jobs to be created in the next 5 years in different sectors which include energy, tourism and retail. The announcement was made at the South Africa's Investment conference which took place in Sandton, North of Johannesburg. The gathering was part of President Cyril Ramaphosa's investment drive to raise R1.2 trillion to improve the country's low economic growth and deal with the 29.1% unemployment rate.
