Only 23 percent of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math talent globally is said to be female. In South Africa women represent only 20 percent of the workforce in technical roles. The country's Financial Services Group, Momentum Metropolitan and tech institution WeThinkCode have partnered to launch a programme called WomenThinkCode aimed at addressing the under-representation of women in technology.
