The South African National Defence Force is once again on a humanitarian assistance mission in Mozambique, following Cyclone Idai which caused damage running into billions of dollars, with the city of Beira hardest hit. Tons of donation packs have been shipped by SAS Drakensberg, the country's replenishment tanker ship. This latest aid mission comes after the completion of an Operation Copper anti-piracy mission in the Mozambique Channel.
