The United Nations has warned that significant actions will be required to meet the targets set out in the Paris Climate Change Agreement. This as a report by UN's World Meteorological Organisation this week found that concentration of carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere increased at record speed last year to hit levels not seen in 3 million years. A separate UN Environment Programme "Emissions Gap Report" warns that national pledges to the Paris Climate Change Agreement will only bring a third of what is needed to avoid the worst impacts of Climate Change by the Sustainable Development Goals deadline of 2030.
