Born Free Foundation has issued a stark warning to the Convention on International Trade on Endangered Species of wild flora and fauna on trading in endangered species. Doctor Mark Jones, Associate Director, Multilateral Environmental Agreements and United Kingdom Wildlife at Born Free says the warning comes at a time when decisions taken at CITES will prove critical for key species including, lions, tigers, rhinos, elephants, cheetahs, pangolins and various bird, reptile and plant species, which are rapidly facing decline from an epidemic of poaching and other related activities.
