SADC Chairperson Swaziland's King Mswati the third has emphasised the need for countries in the region to mobilize resources to fund key programmes and projects. Speaking at the conclusion of the two day Heads of State Summit in Mbabane, Swaziland on Wednesday (31/08) Mswati acknowledged that implementation of some of SADC's projects have been hamstrung by a lack of resources. The regional leaders also deliberated on the political developments in Lesotho and the Democratic Republic of Congo and elected South Africa' President Jacob Zuma as the new Deputy Chairperson of the body.
