What’s happening in Ditsobotla Local Municipality? Yesterday a mayor was elected and today, no mayor. This is a municipality that has been struggling for sometime with no basic services rendered. A municipality that had two mayors and two separate councils trying to run the area.
It’s the same municipality that used to have the biggest factory in the country, Clover, and had to shut down due to water and electricity supply disruptions, as well as poor road infrastructure.
