Mobile Gaming in Africa

Cape Town is currently hosting the largest gathering of African game developers in the world. The Africa Games Week. It is said the gaming industry in Africa is set to grow expo-nentially due a soaring interest amongst the youth. And, with 24 million gamers, South Af-rica tops the continent having 40% of its population playing followed by Ghana (27%) and Nigeria (23%) in second and third places respectively.
