Pietermaritzburg Economic Justice and Dignity

The Pietermaritzburg Economic Justice and Dignity says government should intervene and pay double social grants this month, December, to cushion the country’s poorest of the poor against next month’s expenses. It said poor families often resort to borrowing money from loan sharks to cover expenses that arise when their children return to school.
