South Africa’s vaccine rollout was supposed to start this week and has been derailed after the Department of Health halted the distribution of the distribution of the Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccines after a new study found the vaccine provided minimal protection against the 501Y.V2 variant identified in South Africa
