In response to the recent spate of women and children abuse and debates about patriarchy in society, the Northern Cape department of safety has launched a Men's forum. The forum which will be in every government department is expected to hold other men accountable and change their thinking around sexism and gender related issues in society and workplace. MEC for safety, Pauline Williams says this forum is the beginning of more initiatives by government in curbing gender inequality and bringing social transformation.
