Two suspects found in possession of one-hundred and 23 uncut diamonds appeared at the Springbok Magistrate court. The two were found in possession of diamonds worth millions. It's suspected that the suspects were running an illegal diamond dealing syndicate that operated from Springbok, Port Nolloth and Steinkopf. The illegal diamonds were exported to buyers outside the country. One suspect, Rodrigues Lima Jose Jorge was released on 25-thousand-rand bail.
