Sentencing in the multimillion rand Trifecta corruption and money laundering case, involving the former ANC Chair John Block and businessman Christo Scholtz has been postponed to December. The two have been found guilty on charges of corruption and money laundering. According to the state, a custodial sentence will serve as a message to would be criminals that crime does not pay, and also it would build trust on investors to put their money in the country.
