  • In response to an open call for its Food Waste Innovation Challenge, the Branson Centre of Entrepreneurship South Africa and the United Nation Development Programme Accelerator Labs South Africa, has chosen 10 entrepreneurs to take part in its Ignite programme.
  • These enterprises aim to reduce food waste and will do a six-month go-to-market and investor-readiness programme to scale their food waste solutions.
  • The 10 entrepreneurs will be provided with direct mentorship; access to expert opinions, insights and inputs for their business; third-party collaborations on their purpose, brand identity and marketing; regular progress workshops; and access to legal, IT, accounting and other business services.
