• This year for south african youth it comes at a very critical time when almost 1 in 2 young people unemployed.
• The Covid 19 Pandemic has also accelerated the need to further skill our youth, with 59,5% of youths unemployed, according to Stats SA.
• Irrespective of education level, the graduate unemployment rate is at 40,3% for those aged 15–24 and 15,5% among those aged 25–34 years, while the unemployment rate among adults (aged 35–64 years) is 5,4%.
