Today we spoke to Nyika Machenjedze project manager for children on the move and children in emergencies in Save the children. Whilst South Africa is food secure at national level, the country is still food insecure at household level because not all households have access to adequate food. 
According to Stats SA report Almost 20% of South African households had inadequate or severe inadequate access to food in 2017.
