In an out of community of property marriage, each spouse retains full control and contractual capacity of their estate which includes all assets and liabilities acquired both before and during the marriage. 
All out of community marriages involve the signing of an antenuptial contract which sets out the financial consequences of the marriage, and couples are free to tailor-make their contracts as they see fit. 
A couple can be married out of community with or without the accrual system.
