Family medical and dental centres network Medicross has introduced Netcare VirtualCare, a secure platform for video doctor consultations.

the new Web application has been deployed across 50 Medicross centres to provide a safe option to connect patients to healthcare specialists in real-time, minimising the risk of spreading COVID-19, by eliminating face-to-face consultations.
Medicross started piloting the video-conferencing solution in May.
