Tshimologong Precinct is running the Ya Basadi in 4IR Programme.
The programme aims to create a pipeline of women who enter the technology and digital arena by offering support in their tech or tech-enabled businesses.
Statistics show that female entrepreneurs are growing year by year, going from 35% in 2015 to 47% in 2017.
There are also many indications that reflect that, even though women-owned business are the many, they often struggle to access funding, and as the statistics indicate, remain at micro-enterprise levels.
