Its hosted annually by Anglo American Platinum and Metal Concentrators and Platinum Guild International India.
Winners of A competition aimed at addressing this, the PlatAfrica competition will be announced this Wednesday 23 October.
The finalists in the professional and student & apprentice categories were selected based on the quality and aesthetics of their design and manufacturing skills with the metal, which requires greater craftmanship than other precious metals like gold and silver.
