in Orange Farm, Sparks Bantwana has teamed up with Durban hit-maker, DJ Sox,
to release a brand new single titled ‘Qolo Lami.’
Sparks Bantwini is regarded by many as one of the pioneers of Gqom music, a
genre that was birthed in the vibrant city of Durban, and has influenced many
mainstream songs in South Africa in recent years.
DJ Sox is also regarded as one of the pioneers of Durban kwaito. Sparks
Bantwana’s latest offering is a fusion of gqom and house music, two genres that
the two collaborating artists are at the forefront of. ‘
