The objectives of this programme are to: • Commemorate national science week and women’s day; • To encourage girls and women to pursue careers in the male dominated fields of science, engineering, mining, construction and the public works sector; • To encourage listeners to consider a career in the scarce skills fields; and • Demonstrate the importance of scarce skills in economic development.
