The moment Jacob wept for his son, Joseph was sold into Egypt. The two reunite and both found a way to live in hope through their God, in the midst of a family filled with lies, treachery, violence, pride, jealousy, and shame. If God can work in this family--can we find this same hope, trust, love, and peace in communities also filled with this same dysfunction?
