We all have people in our lives that we find it hard to relate to. That's only a problem if we stop trying to relate and connect. Many of us don't find it necessary to purposefully look for common ground until our survival depends on it, and that is very unfortunate. If we go out of our ways to find things to relate to, we will be taking a very large step into healing the strained social constructs of our land. Great places to start are through hobbies, arts, music, church or religious institutions, and any other activity that encourages people to come together for a common goal.
