Wilmington, North Carolina is an awesome city for many reasons. It has a thriving music scene, support of the arts, and great comedy. It is also the home of the Cape Fear Comedy Festival, founded and produced by comedian Matt Ward. I met up with Matt in 2013, just after finding out that I was rejected for the festival, and recorded this interview. It is a great insight into the comedy business and what it takes to be a working comedian.
