Chairperson of the Commission on Khoi-San Matters,Professor Nico Botha, says they are happy that the Khoi-San people are finally recognised in the National House of Traditional Leaders after protracted delays. He says the commission is now working on all claims lodged from the Khoi- San who want recognition. The Traditional and Khoi-San Leadership Act Three of 2019 ensures that the Khoi-San leadership are also recognised as public office bearers. Let’s use this opportunity now to understand what this means and the sort of changes it’s bringing to the Khoi-San people
