The FAN Morning Show goes into its final hour of the day with Ben Ennis and Brent Gunning debating if its too early in the season to be nervous about the Maple Leafs after the letdown they suffered in Columbus last night. They welcome on The Star longtime contributor and TFMS “Leafs historian”, Damien Cox, for his thoughts on the Buds’ start to the season under new coach Craig Berube. The trio dive into why its too early to be nervous that this is the same old Leafs team that tends to play down to opponents, along with how much accountability the players should be held to and if "Chief" is the one to instill that like never before. The final guest of today’s show is Toronto Raptors’ GM Bobby Webster, who joins the program to discuss his hopes for the franchise’s continued rebuild this season (22:36). He shares some injury updates on players, who he hopes to see the most growth from to be a part of the team’s future, and what could make this season, the 30th anniversary of the franchise, a special one. The show ends with Ben and Brent’s pick for the NHL “Game To Watch” this week.
