Michael describes 16th Century Star Chambers and how the secretive process used in the current so-called “impeachment inquiry” is wrong. The hearings should be open and due process afforded the President. More importantly, though, the American public deserves to hear the testimony of witnesses because public opinion will be a significant factor in whether or not to impeach a President.
