The new guidelines for isolation for close contacts state that teenagers over the age of13 who are vaccinated but not boosted will have to restrict their movements for 7 days. If f they are boosted they do not have to isolate.   However, they are not eligible for a booster, and this has caused a lot of frustration among parents.  To discuss this further we spoke to a Journalist and mum of 7 Jen Hogan and Professor of Comparative Immunology at Trinity College Dublin, Cliona O’Farrell.
