The original Eros In The Mind's Ear, released in 2012, marked one of the earliest chapters of my journey as a mix compiler. To my surprise, it became one of my most listened-to and downloaded mixes. The appreciation it received gave me the confidence to believe that perhaps I was doing something right. More importantly, it ignited a passion that has continued to shape every mix I've shared since.
Over the years, the original grew into something deeply personal. I came to regard it as one of those rare moments that felt complete in its own right—a musical statement I never imagined revisiting. For a long time, I believed that anything I created afterwards would struggle to capture the same magic, so I chose to let it remain exactly as it was.
But time has a way of changing perspective.
Fourteen years later, I found myself drawn back to that space—not to recreate the past, but to honour it. Eros In The Mind's Ear – Part 2 is a continuation of that journey, shaped by years of musical discovery, personal growth, and an enduring love for soulful, thought-provoking sounds.
A few mixes ago, I reposted the original edition on my HearThis page for anyone who wishes to revisit—or experience for the first time—the mix that quietly became the foundation of so much that followed.
For my sons!!!
Whether this new chapter resonates as deeply as the first is not for me to decide. That judgment belongs entirely to you, the listener.
As always, your comments, likes, shares, and continued support are sincerely appreciated. I hope you enjoy this renewed journey, and perhaps, hear something that speaks not only to the ears, but also to the mind.
— Msendy's Deep Perspectives
Welcome to another installment from yours truly. As the lights dim and the disco ball begins to paint stories across the room, Beamy Ceilings....and Starry Nights 2 invites you into another chapter of timeless grooves and late-night reflections. This carefully curated journey blends deep house, soulful rhythms, Balearic textures, and disco-infused warmth into one seamless musical experience, designed for those moments when the night feels endless. Whether you're driving beneath the city lights, sharing quiet conversations, or losing yourself on the dancefloor, let every transition carry you a little deeper into the music. This mix is lovingly dedicated to my daughter—a small tribute wrapped in melodies, memories, and moments that words alone could never fully express. Sit back, turn it up, and allow the music to transform ordinary nights into unforgettable ones.

Deep Perspectives – Where every mix tells a story.
As the city lights fade into the horizon and the night begins to tell its stories, I invite you to take a journey into the deeper side of house music.
Groove Escapades 5: In2Deep is the latest chapter in Msendy's Deep Perspective, a series dedicated to timeless grooves, soulful rhythms, and immersive underground sounds. This mix is not about chasing trends—it is about capturing moments, emotions, and the spaces in between.
Each track has been carefully selected to create a seamless journey through warm basslines, hypnotic melodies, and deep atmospheric textures. From the opening notes of Barce's The Man From Planet X to the closing energy of Rick Wade's Pressure Craft, every transition is designed to draw you further into the experience.
Whether you're driving through the city after dark, watching the sunrise from your balcony, working late into the night, or simply looking for an escape from the noise of everyday life, this mix was crafted with those moments in mind.
Expect deep rhythms, subtle emotions, and grooves that unfold slowly and naturally. No rush. No distractions. Just pure musical storytelling.
Thank you to everyone who continues to support this journey and keeps the spirit of deep house alive. Your ears, your time, and your energy are deeply appreciated.
Turn the volume up, settle in, and allow yourself to drift beneath the surface.
Welcome to Groove Escapades 5: In2Deep.

Fellow house mates, I will be closing the year with this mix. Closing off with Floor Moods has become somewhat of a tradition since the festive season has begun (summer vibes in the southern hemisphere). Take care of your loved ones and more importantly, take time and spend it together. It's been a great year, though coupled with challenges but overall, the odds have largely been on your side for some of you. Stay safe and hope to hear from each and every one of you....on the other side!!!

Fellow house mates, welcome to another session from yours truly. In SA, the month of June is very significant due to to 1976 events that changed course of governance. Also, this month is a commemoration for all the Fathers in the world. The emphasis is that the role still plays a very important role in society. It can never get out of 'fashion'. Family structures still need to be shaped in such a manner that benefits good in the world! This is for everyone who appreciates the good that still exists in this world, Dad or still to be. Enjoy. Here, is the commemoration to a deep heads group called D4E which I was welcomed to it some years ago by a respected deep head by the name of D4EEPMEISTER (Tim - USA). There, I was introduced to a number of brothers from all over the world (Diliman - France, Johnnyboy - SA, Michael Walker - UK, DeepTaac - Lesotho, Sensor Podcast, just to name a few). It was great learning experience which led me to sharpen my craft and finding my solid foot with my musical preferences.
This, as the title says, is an Ode dedicated to this deeply rooted group D4E. Please enjoy!
