Growing up, I was a girl scout and the motto I remember living by is Be Prepared. It means to be ready to think out and practice how you would act in a situation so that you would never be taken by surprise. That holds true in business as well. Try to anticipate anything out of the ordinary that might happen and have Plan B, C and so on. In other words, be prepared, as best as you can.
