I believe unequivocally and beyond doubt, that the Apostle John is the author of this book. Just know that today not everyone is unanimous in their opinion that it is the Apostle who wrote this book. But you might say, what does it matter? Who cares who wrote it? Well, WE ALL SHOULD. Why? Because it is in the Bible. It’s not just a matter of curiosity, but of trust and inspiration. There are millions of books written by Christians all the time. Not everything Christians write is the WORD of GOD nor belongs in the canon of Scripture.
