This playlist's been in the hopper for awhile - just haven't had a chance to publish it. Major influences on this one were the death of Gil Scott Heron, and the sharing of tracks to soundtrack The Rapture on Twitter last may. There were some brilliant suggestions, but my own selections are included here - including one of my favorite Blondie tracks that never seems to get much airplay and a rare cover of 'Spirit in the Sky'.
