Track #08 of the 2021 album "Retrospect 1996-2001" by Andreas Viklund. This song was made years ago when I tried a number of different kinds of music production software (DAW:s). It started out as a simple piano melody and grew to become my personal tribute to the late Robert Miles, whose music has meant a lot to me ever since I heard "Children" and "Fable" in the late 1990s.

While experimenting with different effects, I accidentally recorded a control track for a reverb on one of the backing synth tracks, resulting in a really weird sound. While it wasn't intentional, I decided to keep the wild reverb.

Then a couple of years passed with the song stuck in my "unfinished" folder, until I released it on the "Retrospect" album in the summer of 2021 - still with that strange, dream-like reverb remaining.
