First released in 1987 and a No.1 UK hit for the Pet Shop Boys. I have no idea why they were called the Pet Shop Boys as neither of them appeared to like animals or were "boys". But then the comments should stop there. Rumour has it that they were named after friends who owned a pet shop...........
