Qantas chief executive Alan Joyce says the airline is well prepared to withstand the fallout from the crisis in Ukraine, including surging oil prices. But unveiling a $456 million half year loss - much of it from the Omicron and Delta impact - Mr Joyce says Australia could become a refuge for tourists edgy about travelling to Europe.
