Newly-appointed ACCC chair Gina Cass-Gottlieb will target petrol and fuel retailers exploiting uncertainty from the COVID19, the Ukraine war and recent flood disasters to gouge prices. In her first broadcast interview in the top job, Ms Cass-Gottleib confirmed she has severed ties with higher profile clients including medua tycoon Rupert Murdoch and his son Lachlan. Ms Cass-Gottlieb also committed to maintaining the pressure on digital titans like Facebook and calling out "green-washing" where companies mislead consumers about their policies about the switch to renewables.
