The seventh edition of the Friday Street-organised four-day weekender playing the 'best in underground 60s dance music' was on the weekend of June 25th-28th. Various locations in Glasgow's Merchant City were used over the four night and two daytime events. Around 200 scooters took part in the ride out through the city centre - twice as many as last year. Many people also remarked on how many young mods were at the evening and daytime events - as has been the case at other events this year. This wasn't just about the mods of the 'mod revival' days getting back together again, there is also a new breed taking part - new mods of the 21st century who will keep the scene alive in years to come. The organisers - Friday Street - should be thoroughly congratulated on a fantastic weekend!
