Forward Vakoun Bayo has re-joined former club RSC Charleroi on loan for the remainder of the 2022/23 season, Watford FC can confirm.
The 26-year-old arrived at Vicarage Road from the Belgian top-flight side in July 2022, going on to make his debut for the Hornets in the 1-0 win over current Sky Bet Championship leaders Burnley a month later.
Since then Bayo has tallied up four goals in 25 appearances for the Golden Boys, with the Ivory Coast international hitting a dramatic winner against Middlesbrough on the 100th anniversary of the first match at The Vic, and also striking away to Rotherham United, Stoke City and Norwich City.
After being limited to nine league starts in yellow Bayo will now look to help Charleroi improve their current 12th-place standing in the Jupiler Pro League back in familiar territory, having scored 11 goals in 16 games during his first spell with the club.
Good luck, Vakoun!
