An exciting opportunity has become available in the Academy at Watford Football Club. We are looking to recruit a Kit Coordinator to be a part of our forward-thinking team responsible for managing and overseeing the daily running of the club’s Academy kit and laundry.

The role will be based at the club’s training ground in London Colney, and will include evenings, weekends and home and away games.

The successful candidate will enjoy working as part of a team, be enthusiastic, hardworking, and be flexible to the requirements of the position and the business.

Applicants should ideally live local to Watford or the surrounding areas and be a UK resident or non-UK resident with a valid UK work permit, and ideally have experience working within a similar role.

Essential:

• Previous laundry or kit experience
  
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  
• Strong organisational and time management skills
  
• Excellent communication skills to engage with all staff and players
  
• Strong attention to detail, maintaining high professional standards
  
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and to prioritise workloads
  
• Ability to work weekends, evenings and unsociable hours
  
• Valid full UK driving licence due to the driving requirement of the role, between all sites and other stadiums
  
• Understanding of the club’s commitment to EDI & Safeguarding
  
• The necessary Disclosure and Barring Service check will apply to this post

Desirable:

• Previous experience in a professional football club or equivalent environment
  
• Experience of using a heat press machine
  
• Have an emergency first aid certificate
  
• Have an FA Safeguarding certificate and or equivalent
