It was another busy week of action for some of Watford’s loan stars who are currently out plying their trade at their temporary clubs.

Defender Mattie Pollock featured in his second game for Aberdeen after making the short-term switch to the Scottish club during the January transfer window.

The centre-half helped secure the Dons’ 3-1 win over Motherwell in the Scottish Premiership, ending a record of five straight defeats.

Three points helped Aberdeen maintain seventh place in the league, now only three points off Livingston in fourth.

Elsewhere, Vakoun Bayo made his first appearance back at RSC Charleroi during a 2-2 draw with KV Mechelen in the Belgian First Division.

The forward earned an assist for Adem Zorgane’s first strike, before the midfielder equalised for Charleroi.

Meanwhile, JJ McKiernan played 90 minutes in Eastleigh’s 1-0 victory over Woking in the National League.

With the Spitfires still in the hunt for a play-off position at the end of the campaign, the Northern Irishman played in the centre of midfield as they secured the win.

Joseph Hungbo played 70 minutes for Huddersfield Town as they look to drag themselves out of the bottom three in the Sky Bet Championship.

The 23-year-old, who joined the Terriers during the winter window until the end of the season, featured in a 1-1 draw with Queens Park Rangers from the right wing.

Also, goalkeeper Myles Roberts played in a 2-2 draw against second-placed Dartford for his temporary club Welling United in the National League South.

The shot-stopper made an impressive double save during the match to keep the game level at two-a-piece.

Finally, York City’s Shaq Forde came on as 71st-minute substitute during a 2-0 defeat against Southend United in the English fifth tier.
