As the season reaches its conclusion, Watford’s loanees have been playing their part at their temporary homes.

To begin, in the battle to stay afloat in the Sky Bet Championship, Huddersfield Town took a big step towards safety thanks to the contribution of Joseph Hungbo in a 2-1 win over Cardiff City (April 30).

The winger scored the Terriers’ opening goal with half-an-hour left to play, which set the away side on the path to an important victory with two matches remaining.

In the National League, Shaq Forde rescued a point for York City against second-placed Notts County (April 29), striking in the 88th minute to level the score at 1-1.
