Watford Football Club has been highly commended by the EFL in the 2023/24 Grounds Teams of the Season awards.

It comes after the club's groundstaff worked tirelessly throughout the campaign to keep the Vicarage Road pitch in immaculate condition.

Recognition from the EFL confirms that the Hornets' surface is one of the best in the Sky Bet Championship, with the awards celebrating staff who work in all weathers to ensure pitches of the highest quality.

Leicester City were named as the winners for the Championship, with Leeds United also highly commended.
