Happening Next WeekWe have a number of events taking place following service next Sunday:

• We will be voting on the bylaw amendment proposed last month at the church business meeting following service. This amendment removes the clause making the lead pastor the chair of the Elder board and adds a clause specifying a 1-year term for the chair. This vote is open to anyone who has filled out the membership commitment form for 2024, but the form must be filled out prior to Friday, March 22nd.
• We will be having a potluck and small egg hunt for the children following service as well.

Church Yard SaleWe will be host a community yard sale on Saturday, April 27th. The church has some items we no longer need that will be included, and we are also asking folks from the church to bring in items you’d like to donate to be sold. More details to come, but please hang on to things as you embark on spring cleaning!

MembershipWe do membership differently than most churches, and our membership roster resets every year. If you’re interested in becoming a member, check out the qualifications for membership and fill out the membership commitment form at https://lafayettecc.org/go/membership2023 (the link says 2023, but the form works for 2024)

Join a GroupWe believe the church can be more effective when people also come together in small groups during the week. Here are our current small groups:

• Mondays, 6:30pm: Amanda Schoolcraft hosts a group in West Lafayette from 6:30pm-8:00pm. Contact Amanda (765-999-1821) for more details.
• Tuesdays, 6:30pm: Joe Burgess hosts a group in West Lafayette from 6:30pm-8:00pm. Contact Joe (317-313-7773) for more details.
• 1st & 3rd Sundays, 5:00pm: Pastor Leo hosts a men’s bible study at the church on the first and third Sundays of the month.

How to ContributeWe also know that there is a lot of financial uncertainty in our world today, and we are doing our best to run our operations as lean as possible, but we still need to pay the bills, so if you can, please contribute your financial support in person on Sundays, by mail, or by electronic donations.
