Polar Express Hot ChocolateNext Saturday, December 9th we will be serving our community by serving hot chocolate at the showing of the Polar Express at the Long Center in downtown Lafayette.
We need volunteers to help with prep and cleanup, and volunteers to help serve the hot chocolate. We also need large insulated containers to store hot chocolate. Contact Natalie Guthrie (202-445-1715) if you want to volunteer or if you have a container you can lend the church for this event.
New Men’s Bible StudyPastor Leo is starting a new men’s bible study. We’ll meet on the first and third Sundays of the month, at 5:00pm here at the church building.

Christmas Eve ServiceWe’ll be having our Christmas Eve service at 6pm on December 24th, with hot chocolate and cookies following the service. Since Christmas Eve falls on a Sunday this year, we will only be having our evening Christmas Eve service. We will not have our normal Sunday morning service.
New Years Eve GatheringJoin us at the church on New Years Eve for a potluck, games, and ringing in the new year! We’ll start at 6pm and go until just after midnight. Join us for as much of the festivities as you wish. Bring some food to share and games if you wish. Let’s ring in 2024 together!

How to ContributeWe also know that there is a lot of financial uncertainty in our world today, and we are doing our best to run our operations as lean as possible, but we still need to pay the bills, so if you can, please contribute your financial support in person on Sundays, by mail, or by electronic donations.
