Christmas Hot Chocolate Delivery This Christmas Eve, we won’t be able to have an in-person Christmas Eve gathering with our beloved Hot Chocolate Bar. So we’re going with the next best thing- Hot Chocolate Delivery!

Our Christmas Eve gathering will be a stay-at-home live streamed event at 6pm on the 24th, and if you sign up, we’ll provide hot chocolate for the whole family! We won’t be together, but we’ll be “together”. If you’d like hot chocolate mix and fixins delivered in time for Christmas Eve, sign up here- hot chocolate, please!

The Million Dollar Miracle Project • Generosity 2020 This year’s Generosity Project is kicking things into high gear! No amount of summarizing will do it justice, so just go check out Pastor Jeff’s recent church blog post describing our goal and how we plan to relieve $1,000,000 of medical debt around the nation, with your help!

Christmas For Everyone This year, LCC had initially committed to sponsoring 25 kiddos and we ended up sponsoring 27 in total! Great job and thank you! Christmas For Everyone is a program coordinated by Faith Church that provides Christmas gifts for children in Tippecanoe County. Low-income families register their children for the program, and Faith Church assigns sponsorship of these families to various churches in Lafayette.

This year, LCC will not be a host site for Distribution Day, but you can still volunteer at another host site.

Here are ways you can participate:

1. Volunteer for Distribution Day on December 12: You can sign up to serve, and get all the Distribution Day details, here.
2. Pray for the event: Continue to pray for the families and volunteers putting it all together. This year is an especially challenging time for both the families needing support and the folks organizing everything in ways that are safe yet effective and loving.
3. Donate wrapping paper and supplies to bless this year’s distribution sites.
4. Get shopping! If you’ve sponsored a child this year, be sure to have your green bag returned to Amanda Schoolcraft by December 6.

Fusion Youth • No Meeting Sunday the 29th Fusion Youth will not be meeting this coming Sunday, November 29. They’ll resume meetings next Sunday, December 6. Fusion Youth meetings are open to students grade 6-12. The multi-fellowship youth group will be held at Community Reformed Church (2501 S 18th St) for the month of December. Masks are required for all in attendance.
