Today, Bishop Rodgers teaches on the second gift, serving/ministry, and the importance of "Balanced Ministry" from Romans 12:7. The word "serving/ministry" is diakonia meaning "to wait on tables." Basically, it describes a person who serves and ministers in a wide variety of common labors and in the most practical ways, both physically and spiritually. It is vital we balance both worship and work. In Luke 10:38-42, we see the story of Martha and Mary and how attitudes can arise if we are not properly balanced.
