Alexander Miller was born on the 20th of February 1992 in Birkhampstead, England. The eldest of three, football was a key part of growing up. After playing at a young age, it was clear his talent was not on the pitch. He found his calling, telling people what to do, and became a referee - officiating games in the local Hertfordshire leagues.
After taking a step into football management during a spell of long-nights listening to jazz and smoking café cremes - including taking Arsenal to unrealistic heights, claiming title after title at the helm, he was invited to take part in the newly formed Bristol Classic league aged 22.
Taking the reigns at She Was Only XI FC he faced the first real test of his managerial accumin. His team started dreadfully, taking no points from their first three fixtures, and languishing at bottom of the table. "Moral is low" he said at the time and placed a big bet on a trip of attackers to fire his boys up the table, signing Spanish starlet Pedro, england ace Jermaine Defore and hometown lad Troy Deeney. He finished that first season in third and it's been onwards and upwards ever since.
Three league titles later, and 'Big Al' is the Bristol Classic's most successful manager. He's driven by not only a desire to please his papi, who is yet to return from getting milk, but a friendly personal rivally with the league's nearly man Matty Guest. Such friendly relationships are not consistent across the league however, Mr Miller can be viewed as a decisive figure - he's often defensive in his interviews and liable for an outburst when the games aren't going his way. Those close to him however, speak of a gentle soul, who loves nothing more than a cold beer and blowie. Whatever you think of him, he's the man to beat this season. And he won't make that easy.
