Oshebeng Alphie Koonyaditse was born in a small village called Cokonyane in Taung region of the North West Province of South Africa. He is a journalist with South African Broadcasting Corporation and also a part-time lecturer at the North West University (Mafikeng Campus) in the faculty of Communications (Broadcast Journalism). He has attended United States International Visitor Leadership Programme (Edward R. Murrow Programme for Journalist). He graduated with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at North West University and also trained as a journalist by Commonwealth Broadcasting Association. He has reported extensively in African Nations Cup, the FIFA world Cup as well as The Olympics including the 2012 edition held in London.
